Printing off schedules for events seems very prehistoric [insert dinosaur emoji here].
These days, students, teachers and parents alike want the convenience of having a schedule on their phone. It’s simple, paperless and you can quickly pull it up wherever you go.
But building apps can take forever. Not to mention difficult and expensive.
Over the past year, MASC has been using Yapp to create and distribute our schedules. Their mission is simple: “to empower people to interact and express themselves.”
It’s relatively simple: just put in your information and let their powerful tools do the rest.
Okay, it’s a little bit more work than that but not much, especially with their drag-and-drop editor.
They offer a lot of nifty features:
- Instant Publishing – You can create an app in minutes, hit publish and seconds later it appears inside the Yapp app!
- Native Features – Yapp apps have native mobile features websites apps do not. With Yapp you can even send push notifications.
- Flexible Pages – Add as many pages as you’d like!
- Easy Editor – They simplify the app making process so anyone can do it!
You can use Yapp for a variety of things including conferences, fundraisers, sports, classes, retreats, and of course, Student Council Events!
After you create and publish your Yapp app, you can access it through the Yapp mobile app. It is available in the App Store and Google Play store.
From there it’s simple to get connected to the app you just created!
Here, take a look at how we spread the word!
